Yeah i would buy this software straight away if the stock control was available

There is no set date on when the Pro version will be ready. Right now we are putting our efforts into a few other items.

I really think your sales would rocket if you just added the simple element of stock control. Its imperative that sellers dont over sell items and this is why i think this should really be top of the agenda....

Anyway who am i to tell you how to run your business! Just think that there are plenty of customers on here and else where that would snap this up in a heatbeat if this was added... PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER SPEEDING THE PROCESS UP **GIVE THE CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY WANT**

I agree with the need for stock control, but I believe taxes and shipping elements are much more important. So I am glad they are giving that top priority over stock control.

Inventory control - a definite must - let's get this soon as well as a way to download the shopping cart from the Web site - useful if you are working on multiple computers and need to sync the cart between systems.

If it will require a more expensive "Pro" version for simple inventory control I will be pissed - this feature should have been included with the initial release.

I am pretty positive that inventory management will not be a part of the standard version. It will be either in a pro version or as a paid module.

That's rather disappointing

I can't think of any on-line business that wouldn't benefit from inventory management built-in to their storefront. How many customers might they lose if they have several orders for a one-of-a-kind item. I know the answer is simple, first come first served. But that leaves a bad taste in the mouth of the several that followed in ordering. Not very professional from any aspect. I would think that it should be part of the standard version (maybe not the trial though) and in-fact should have been implemented already if you want to get down to it.

There are tons of features I bet we could have included in this software for the initial release. Some people may think they are important and others may think they are not. Our goal was to make an easy to use application that allows you to get your own shop online in minutes. If we added every conceivable option that you can imagine and keeping the cost under $49, that would be very difficult. I am sure some would say they would pay hundreds for an application like that, however there are thousands who would not.

That logic is not really a valid point. Inventory control should be standard on all carts. Unfortunately I have given up and written off the software as a loss and moved on to Zencart. I bought the entire package of software too, not just the cart. If it is not understood that inventory control is vital to almost all businesses, then your logic is not in the best interest of online merchants like myself. That's too bad. I should not have to spend more to get that one feature when we have already bought everything you have to offer.
