Ok, so I am working with the SCCP and the SCDP trial versions to make sure I like it and I am having some real issues with the menus.

In the horizontal menu themes they show stock pages Home and Shop Home with drop downs under the Shop Home listing. When I upload the theme into SCCP and preview the shop it drops the home menu. I have tried all the horizontal themes and they all do this. I have looked at almost all of the sites under the forum post your SCCP shops here and all the horizontal menu shops have this problem. BUT.......

I have seen shops with horizontal menus that work - Jo Ann's shop has a horizontal menu and it has Home and Shop Home that work. Theres also some shops listed in forum SCC basic that work and some that dont. What gives? Whats the secreat to making these themes and horizontal menus work properly.

It seems that a lot of users just accept the issue and list there additional pages under the Home setting. Thats BS and non intuitive. No user is going to think to mouse over the Home tab to look for additional pages!?

Justin, In SCCP click the "Your shop" at the top of the page. In the window that opens click the pages tab. At the bottom make sure you check the "link to" and enter the url to your site. There's a lot of settings on this tab that controls how your navigation will appear.

WOW Eric! Thanks! that was simple. I guess I gave up too soon It is interesting though that ALOT of people have this issue or maybe Im being too presumptuous. I just cant see why anyone would want to have submenus under their Home tab. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
