Will the Pro version allow you to export the purchase data? Basic forces you to process a payment. What if I want to export the order instead. If so what format

I am not sure I understand the question David. All purchases must be made directly through a merchant. There is no way to place an order without selecting PayPal, GoogleCheck Out, 2CO etc..

Is that what you were asking?

Hey Scott,

I collect data from customers on specific products and merge the customer data and order together to produce custom printed products. I need the data.. I was hoping that PRO would allow this function.
To view the process go to http://www.camdendigital.com/ce/process.pdf

Thanks,

We do have transaction logging now with SCC Pro, but not sure if that is what you need or is in the format you may want.

I can load any format. I like pipe or comma delimited the most.

I don't think it has what he needs "yet". He needs a field that customers can put custom information in without it having to be separate like we are using Form Builder for right now. He wants what many have asked for which I'm hoping also will be in a future update.

Unfortunately David, it isn't in there yet, but hang in there, it may be there at some point in the future :)

Wellll.. All the data I need is the customer info. Standard stuff that is already there in SCC. I'm not worried about custom fields. But they would be nice..
Pick a product.
Enter qty
Enter ship to

DONE

I want that data.. in an export (excel, csv, text) format.
It's already there.

ahh I see ... kind of .. lol

All I've ever seen come from the basic or the Pro is the email I get from PayPal and the info on there, I don't know about any data files other than that sorry. And sorry for misunderstanding :)

Hi David. Just to clarify so there is no confusion. Within Cart Creator the only data that is collected is the product, the price and the chosen shipping charge. There is no facility built in to capture customer information such as shipping address etc. and that would be unlikely to be incorporated in any future versions of the Cart Creator program due to security implications.

Are you kidding? There is no customer database? You have to manually build your customer info via emails? No MY ACCOUNT info for customers to log-in for quick checkout? I've never heard of an e-commerce system that excludes this all important info...am I missing something here?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
