When I try to export to csv, I get an error "Couldn't convert to buffer using wxConvLocal class." I have tried going through my items in the product grid to show me the coding and removing suspect span data and other odd formatting, but I must be missing something because it is continuing to occur. I read a thread about another person with the error and it was deemed a problem with odd bullet points or copying web content with certain formatting.
I have been able to locate the source categories giving me the error and each set of products has its own import file. My problem seems to lie with getting rid of the suspect coding/formatting in these sections of information. I have cut and paste from the spreadsheets into text editors and then pasted back in, tried the excel format painter for the entire block of information, and saving the information into a tab text file and then reopening and converting back to excel. None of this seems to remove my problem. I am very close to resolving to have to recreate each product manually. Might anyone have any ideas or tricks/hints to removing the formatting which is causing my error before I go through mass product imputing?
