Google and yahoo use it, so leave it there

however in designer you can change the text colour to blend into the background so it gets hidden, and chage the size to very small to save space (which is what i do)

Still does the job it was intended to do though

The background of my Page Title is a shade of blue gray when viewed in IE. But it is white when viewed with all the other browsers.

The theme is Classical Jazz, which has a white background in the Page Title. I never changed or fooled with this setting in any way. So where it gets blue in IE, I don't know. So if I change the color of the text to be white, it is OK (hidden) when viewed with anything but IE.

I don't know if this'll help the novice guys out there but, if you hit the .inc.php files (mind you - you'll need to be careful in here) if you access these files, and remove this section. In this example, we're addressing the home.inc file. so it's home.inc.php.

If you remove this code, the title of your "home" page will go away. So you can then add HTML that calls an image that might say, Welcome, or Hello, or whatever. but this is the code, in the .inc.php file, that you'll be looking for.

<div id="scs_subheader_inner_wrapper">
<div id="scs_subheader">
<h2 id="scs_subheader_title">
<?php
echo $currentpage_headertext;
?></h2>
</div>
</div>

NOTE: MAKE A BACK UP OF ANY FILE YOU'RE ELECTING TO EDIT IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG YOU'LL HAVE A QUICK BACK OUT PROCESS!!! VERY IMPORTANT.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
