I have a site that sells training reservations. The type of training is selected from a list and then on the training detail page there is the purchase button which goes directly to paypal where they make payment. After payment the training date and time is reserved and the website blocks that time slot.
On the checkout page (training detail page) I want to offer a book as well, with a flat rate (increments by percentage for more than one book) and sales tax.
Is it easy to add this seamlessly as an option and can shopping cart creator pro have awareness of the training purchase and take that amount and data and combine it with the book on checkout? The book can also be purchased without the training reservation. So it has to have that flexibility as well which I believe it's probably easier to do.

Thank you

SCCP doesn't have reservation integration as of yet. I think most users requiring this type of setup are adding a form to their shops page.:) You could make the suggestion in the suggestion forum.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. What I was hoping to do is to keep the integration separate, so to speak. Ideally, I would to like to somehow pass the reservation submitted data to the SCCP so it will show in the checkout page rather than depend entirely on SCCP to perform both transactions. I would just like to show the itemized total. Maybe use a variable to hold the reservation details and pass that across and integrate into the SCCP checkout page?? Or if anyone has a better idea?
There is just too much back end work tied into the reservation system (admin page, database, front end) to scrap it and use only one solution (which you answered the question that it is not possible to do anyway).

Thanks

It would take a fair amount of hacking of your pages to pass the variables through the cart to the reservation script. Plus every time you made changes to your shop you would have to redo the hack.
