Hi,

I want to import swf files that I have created with Coffeup Jukebox into Site Creator Pro. I know I can do this with HTML tags, but really don't have a clue how these work.

I found the info and HTML code to copy and paste, but not sure where the root directory is for the shop, to change the <param name="movie" value="Flash_Music/Beethoven1.swf"/>
and Flash_Music/Beethoven1.swf

The root directory of your shop is where you shop files are located. Look for files like index.php, cart.php and viewcategory.php There is where you would upload the Jukebox files to.

It would be easier to track down problems if we had a link.

Make sure your Music folder is lowercase and Demo_files folder is uppercase on the server exactly like the xml file calls for. Otherwise you have a path problem on Linux.

Hiya Craig,

Do you have a server? If so try uploading it to a test folder on your server so people can take a look. That's always the easiest way for us to help out here is by seeing it. We can then take a good look at the code and how it's placed on the page etc. and that helps a whole lot

Other than that, unless you copied the code and just missed that left arrow bracket, you're missing that on the very first word <object......
not sure if that's the issue, but just thought I'd mention it


Oh also, the root is the location the page is on that the code is on. So if your music page is "IN" your music folder then that's the root for that code. If your music page is in the root folder of the entire site, then it needs to go where the page is, generally that is your shop's root folder rather than any directories inside it. This is the case even if it's a normal site without a shop, then it goes to the general area where you'll find the index.html or index.php page for the main site. Hope that makes sense. Just wanted to clarify that because it looks like you might be thinking your root is the music folder. If not then.... nevermind

Also don't forget the brackets at the beginning and the end of your code [[[ ]]]

Where are you putting this swf file on your site?
With SCCP the only place you can put a flash file is in the main text body of the description page. Not in the header.

I had a similar problem and couldn't get flash to work.

I found that saving the flash in an earlier version (you have published yours in version 8) worked for me.

Try saving the .swf file as version 6.

I could then get mine to work, but not in version 8

I am sure there is a technogeek answer why that happens.
