I see there's been no activity on this post but I am just now considering joining in using SCCP for my website. This past month I have been able to get most features to work as I'd like but I agree about Google Base, now Google Merchant Products.

I used to hand-code each product webpage using script files and referencing the page names and image names from my SKU number. So, creating my google base upload file was fairly easy. I have usually around 700 items so from what I gather, I will have to locate 700 pages SCCP has written for me along with 700 images it has uploaded to manually reference each one of those in my google base upload file.

If the CSV file would identify the image name and generated page name of each item, it would be a simple task again but I'm not sure if I will be able to continue with the free advertising offered by Google Base. So, I'm torn whether or not to continue with my current method or switch to SCCP. I temporarily tried goDaddy's shopping cart at a price of just over $1000 a year but immediately returned and refunded it after I realized that I could not easily ascertain the page names of the products or images, plus they required me to manually map my images to each product whereas in SCCP I can use the csv file to do that programmatically.

I just generated a local copy of my store to see what files SCCP creates and I find the images OK and the xml file gives me the names and relative location of them but I do not see the product pages. Are they generated dynamically when someone wants to see a product page?
