>>That is correct. We are also adding a pipe as a delimeter as well.<<

Ah, good. I like the pipe as a delimiter/separator, it allows much more flexibility.

I just uploaded build 3817 which has a lot of changes on how we import from a csv file. This should I think take care of all the questions around quotations marks. Go into the Check for Updates for more detailed information.

I have also updated this article with more specific information:

This is the error I am now getting with my CSV file. Is this error actaully talking about the same column in my excell spread sheet? Attached is my Test Files one is in excell and the other is the csv exported from it.

Thanks.

The problem is your short description field is not properly formatted.

It should only say this:

The RikenÆ Raptorô HR line is designed to provide you with the all-season performance you expect from a sport-touring tire.

My Short Description fields are the tire sizes 185/60R14

The Long Description is:

The Riken® Raptor™ HR line is designed to provide you with the all-season performance you expect from a sport-touring tire.

FEATURES
All-season tread design
Four circumferential grooves
Solid continuous center rib design

BENEFITS
Helps provide outstanding traction in nearly any weather condition
Allow for efficient water evacuation in wet conditions
Helps provide good handling performance

Are the erros caused from the HTML or Formatting Tags? Because what I did was exported a single Item the Riken Tire from Coffe cup and just copy and pasted that field all the way down for all those tires in that column.

Attached is my 1 product exported from Coffee Cup Pro.

Dave

PS I am so Glad I never became a progrmmer...

The csv file has the exact same issues. Don't add the HTML markup. The software will do that when you import. Just format the csv properly and you will have no problems.

Scott I took out the whole long description and just put in the word test and I still get the above errors. You can see from the attached csv file.

I imported that csv file without any problems here. I did have to resave it as a CSV file again through Excel.
