A sneak peak into Shopping Cart...

With Thanksgiving just one day away (sorry Canada, but Thanksgiving is in November not October ;) ) I thought it would be a good time to give you a sneak peak at the upcoming release of Shopping Cart Creator Pro. Once you find out about all the cool new features we added — more than 20 as of last count — you’ll definitely be feeling thankful. For now, I’m just going to talk about three of the new improvements, just to pique your interest.

Weight-based shipping. Yes, it’s finally here! You can still use the existing shipping methods, or you can use the new, weight-based shipping module that allows you to configure as many shipping method types as you need (e.g. UPS, FedEx, USPS, Ground, Airmail, etc.), as well as weight and region combinations. This gives you way, way more control over the price of shipping.

Easier shop management. When you have hundreds of products and categories, using the Product List tab can be difficult, since you can only see so much at a time. With the new Product Grid tab, you can easily see all the products, categories, descriptions, and more. You can also edit any individual option right there in the grid. Take a closer look at the screenshot for a hint about another feature we’ve added. I’ll give you a hint — it starts with SKU… ;)

Just one more way we’ve made these stores even easier to navigate (look closely).

So there you have it — a little glimpse of what’s to come in December when Shopping Cart Creator Pro is released. When we get closer to the release date, I’ll post a detailed description of all the features and functions in the new version, but for now, this is all you’re going to get out of me ;)

Nice! We want more hints we want more hints we want more hints! LOL J/K, but hmm does this mean it's getting closer since you're starting to tease us maybe? *hopes so and can't wait!*

More than any other individual feature, it is the weight based shipping that is really going to propel this product forward. :) At last Zen Cart and Cubecart have a worthy competitor. You just have to match those two's prices now..... lol

Good work though guys. There has been a massive void in the ecommerce market for a long time now and this product will be of immense benefit to small businesses wanting a usable shop on the net, without needing a degree in computer science to use it.

My sympathies go out to Scott who will be innundated with 'How much is it'? 'Can I reserve a copy'? 'When exactly is it coming out'? 'Is it a free upgrade'? 'Where can I find a feature list'? etc.etc. etc. :)

I have learnt something new today however, as I always thought that Thanksgivng Day was your colonials term for Xmas Day

Looks good Scott.

Any change to the tax collection method? I for one would like to be able to make whatever region I want as the default tax, instead of International. Any chance on that. Please...:D
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

The screenshots are the real hints, if you look closely you can discover more new features, a whole lot more then Scott mentioned actually...just sayin' :P
The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

Sounds great! Any hint if other features will include in-site search and shipping discount. I think you posted Thar in-site search would be added in future releases but hope springs eternal.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

Those sure look interesting features Bob. You really have to peruse the images in some depth to see them all though. :)

We all look forward to evaluating the new product when it's released.

Sally, look to the right of the product page and you may just see a search box. :)
