I created a design with a logo in the upper left for Shop Home. (Saved it to SCC pro, etc.) Then I changed my mind and deleted it and put in a wide graphic covering the whole header. In SCD pro it looks ok, and in SCC pro is does also. However, when I preview it, the logo is still there on top of the graphic. Not only that, but if I click on the logo it takes me to my home page and I never did associate a link with the logo. I've tried deleting the header and then putting it back up, but that hasn't helped. How do I get rid of the logo? Wmmm, I wonder if this could be cached???

Guess what, I did the same thing to mine just now to test your problem and it does the same thing to me. The Logo will not go away.

When you make the change in SCDP make sure you "Export to SCCP" and let it overwrite the original file. Then when you open up a theme in SCCP you will see in the drop down box your new theme in the "My Themes" folder. Click on it and To the right you get a preview of your new design without the logo. But when you open it up, there's the logo!!

Sounds like a bug in the software to me

I just tried the same process here and it worked fine for me.

1. Created a theme in SCD Pro that had a logo. Exported it to SCC Pro.

2. Went to SCC Pro, selected that theme and clicked preview and logo was there.

3. Went back to SCD Pro, deleted the logo and clicked Save (or click export just make sure to overwrite the same theme).

4. Went into SCC Pro, clicked preview and logo was gone.

If you use IE, you maybe looking at a cached page.

Oops. Thanks for checking Steven. I alway do the export and overwrite thing. And it doesn't show up when I'm working on it, only when it's in preview or uploaded.

I just checked the site on my husbands computer and the logo is still on there, so guess it isn't a cache issue. Now what?

I would say you are doing it wrong.

Scott, I may have added that before I deleted the logo. Would that make a difference? If so, how to fix it? Actually I did delete the graphic and add it again but that didn't fix it.
