I am too lazy to look for the answer

To lazy to check to see if this has been suggested but having used the trial version thus far why is it that when you "Export Shop for Upload" (in my case) to my local server for testing, it saves everything in a new folder and not the one that was saved previously.

When you're making loads of changes as I am and uploading to see the results this becomes an annoyance.

Other suggestions:

Mailing list option

A contact us form

A special folder that cannot be overwritten when making new changes. I have a customised style sheet and some images that I’ve added to the site using the HTML tool. Every time I make changes, these files get saved over. Not so much of an issue as I have a copy of these files and I simply copy them back into the relevant folder after it’s been updated but it's the little things that can often make a big difference to the overall feel of using a software like this.

I’ll be sure to mention others! :D

That should not happen in the basic version as there is only one text box to enter server destination. I believe the Pro version allows multiple configurations for numerous shops but I don't know how that works. But it has to be something you have set up in the options.

Hi Tom,

I have checked the options....can't see anything.

Whenever I "Export Shop for Upload" it creates a new directory and does not overwrite the existing one.

It would also be handy if Export Shop for Upload remembers what location I last exported to (don't know if that is a software thing or an OS thing) as my work is located quite a way down from the parent directory.

Perhaps you should put in an official support ticket with CC (on the nav bar).
