Create Custom Header

Hello. I want to create a custom header for my website. I currently have my logo with space to the right and I don't like it at all. I'm having trouble with my logo too--there is a white box around it no matter what I do. So..I thought I could create a header for the entire space at the top of my site and load that as the 'logo'. Would that work? If so, what is the size I should create?

Heather, Do you have a photo editing software? Just make your logo for your header the same width as your shop. You can add text or other images with your editor to your existing logo.:)

Your logo has the white box around it because that's the way the image really looks.

When you open your logo in your photo editor just fill the area around it with the same color that's on the logo.

Hello,
I am having a problem with the header not showing in the uploaded shop.
I designed it in the designer pro and it is there: see picture at: http://bananatreeimports.com/images/page.jpg
But in the shop, the header is missing, I used my Themes the one I designed.

Is the green Banana tree logo on the left still part of the header image or was that added as a separate logo image?

It is part of the header, no logo.
I am trying the designer before I buy it, I don't know what is wrong.
the other problem is when I add to cart an item, it tells me the cart is empty.

Did you hard code a header image with the html tool in your shop on the store front page in SCCP?

I don't understand the question.
I just designed it in the designer and saved it in the creator.
when I published it, the header was missing
