Hi,

my companies domain .com and .de (Germany) are hosted by a German provider (1&1).
I would like to move both domains to CoffeCup (but with the same name).
Is that possible ?
How can I "transfer" the domain names to here ?

Thank you!
Tilman

Yes, you can transfer your domains over to us. Actually it would be Network Solutions. Just open a support ticket with us and give us the domains you want to transfer and I will help you get the process going.

Scott – I have a site and domain name with a major hosting company. I want to move the site to one of my SDrive spaces. So, I can have the name transferred too, rather than renew it with the old host?

Just open a support ticket with us and give us the domains you want to transfer and I will help you get the process going.

The account is due for renewal tomorrow (12/16) Is it OK if I ask for help with this? I don't want to mess anything up :P

I got this today...in a coffee cup newsletter

"Everybody that sets up a paid plan before the end of the week gets a free domain name plus 5 great VSD themes (a value of $45)—"

What about us folks who have an existing plan Webbie and are now paying monthly...

Do we get a 'free' domain name too...and .5 VSD themes...

If not this will be the second time in a month existing S-drive users like me have been at a disadvantage
"my gift? was WIS Lite which I had already purchased early on" and now this. I know you folks at coffee cup do not intend to forget about your long term supporters....please let me know I am right...

This special applies to new S-Drive customers only. Since you already had a paid plan, this would not apply to you.
However, most existing S-Drive customers had already received something free when they originally signed up with S-Drive. For your freebie, you had signed up an May and were charged only $19 and then were not charged again until January 3rd. That was one heck of a good deal ;)

It still seems like early adopters are penalized in the 'New" Coffee Cup marketing plans, which seems to me to be very short-sighted. Lets see 4.95 time 6 months = $30 and I paid $19 to be a tester for a discount of $11....since I already owned VSD etc. not such a good deal given the trials of being an early adopter. This reality will give me pause when the next "early adopting" situation occurs. I am disappointed to say the least.

You are not taking into account that for that $19 you also got Power Post ($19) and two VSD theme packs ($29 each). Early adopting actually gave you a far better deal then a new customer.

But hey, we are good guys here. If you want 5 new themes, I will be happy to send them to you. Just open a support ticket and I will shoot you over a few.

Scott
I have forgotten how I obtained power post but my records show $29 to Coffee cup in June/July and $19 again in August for image editor and $29 in November for form builder, $4.95 January S-Drive: I cannot find anything for May. Your records are probably more accurate than mine so you would know how I obtained power post. MY concern is not the freebies, it is the process, whereby in my opinion, early adopting is disadvantageous, if for no other reason than it disallows exercising a better option offered later and negating the contribution of early adopters. I have always been treated fairly by you and Coffee Cup and wanted to bring this to your attention,so maybe in the future situations, such as this maybe avoided.
