Rearranging images & text

I have not been able to resolve my issue in the user forums.

I have laid out a page so that in row "A" there is an image in the left column and text in the right column. Row "B" is the reverse: the text is in the left column and the image is in the right column. This row pattern repeats down the page. It is here:
https://dlife.ultracartstore.com/produc … r-fabrics/

The problem I'm having is rearranging the columns in the rows for small devices. When the image is in the left column, I can change the span size to full width, and the text column moves down to the next row. I then resize the text column to also span the full width.

But in the rows where the image is in the right column, I cannot make it go ABOVE the text that is in the left column. When I change the span to full width, the image moves down to the next row, BELOW the text.

I want it to flow image above text for each row, not text above image.

I know there has to be a simple way to do this, but I'm stuck, and nobody in the user community has come up with a solution either. You can see my project file here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6rfq2oz3iw2eu … .rlmp?dl=0

Not sure I can offer any other suggestions then what others have pointed here Terry. You may just need to re-think how you are doing things and come up with a better layout.

Really?

What I am attempting to do is not unusual. Surely there's a solution!

What does "Push" & "Pull" do? How do you use it?
When are you going to have proper user documentation that explains all these fields?

We also have a bunch of articles on RLM to help you get more familiar with how the software works. Our Quick Start Guide is very helpful when getting started with Responsive Layout Maker. We recommend taking a look at it as it explains many different parts of RLM.

Chapter 7: How-to's and Resources, click the link "Using Push and Pull".

Cannot get any more specific then that. Unless you want the link to say "Hey Terry, click here to learn how to use Push and Pull!".... ;)

Hi Terry,

I did sample with one row (image on the left side and text on the right side). If you click on either of break points it show the image on the top of the text centered. When you go back to full it will show image on the left side and text on the right side. You just need to the what I did for the image on the right side and text on the left.

I hope this helps you!:)

Scott,

You played with the wrong row. Even an idiot like I seem to be can make that work. The problem is when the image is on the right. Try it.

Do you try doing I did to your layout? I added sub grid to the text and container to the image side?

Like I said, I don't have a problem when the image is on the left.
Where is the documentation for a "sub grid"?
Where is the documentation about a "container"?

Chapter 2 of the QSG.

Are you sure you really have taken the time here to read the documentation ? ;)

Yes, I read it several times Scott.
Here's what Chapter 2 says about grids and containers (which are another mystery). I suggest you read it again, and tell me whether this is proper documentation or just useless fluff. It teaches nothing.

"The Subgrid and Container Elements

The elements pane feature two special elements: Subgrid and Container. These elements use additional, more granular, control when making responsive layout designs.

An example where a subgrid can come in handy is the common (ad) sidebar. On smaller devices there is little or no room to show that next to the main content. But hiding it entirely is usually not the best option. With subgrids sections of the sidebar can be positioned in between the main content so they are visible when the visitor scrolls through the page.

Containers offer additional grouping and can be used to keep elements organized and define responsive behavior inside a column. "
