sorry about the . after the link. unintentional. Thanks for the ideas paintbrush. I'll check with the clients. They don't like typical web convention gizmos like drop downs and last time I created their site, they didn't want to be emailed from the site. sigh. I'll talk about it with them again. I like the idea of a paragraph on the first page.

Thanks so much y'all. You are so responsive!

 I was just reading "Clients from Hell (https://www.google.com/#q=clients+from+hell) before I came back to the CC forums. Hopefully, your client isn't as bad as most of those.

It's frustrating when clients won't consider how people will need to use their sites. Then they wonder why they're not getting much traffic. :o

I am very new to RLP. I apparently don't know how to search the forum because I can't find an answer. Please see www.webs2impress.com/crawlspace - how can I make all my menu items fit the width of the page? Obviously, there is enough room. I have tried adjusting every width I can find, to no avail.

Also, if I design my index.html in RLP and then export and try to copy it to other pages such as about_us.html, what if I don't want all pages to have exactly the same format?

Additionally, if I design the first page in RLP and then later the client wants another menu item added, how do I do that without going back to RLP?

The software isn't exactly what I expected. It certainly isn't as easy to learn as I hoped. I have been a professional web design for 22 years and just can't seem to "get" this.

Go under the properties tab for that row and look for max-width then make sure that none is check.

When you are in RLM make templates of the layouts that you want before exporting. That way you don't have to go back make new layouts

Just copy the code from your exported html file and paste the copy code where you wanted it to be.

If you still having trouble with it just zip your rlmp file and attached it to your response. I will be happy to help you out.

I hope this helps you out.:)

Here is a zip of my project. I want to make the menu buttons NOT wrap. I want to center image calls in the table.

To save as a template, do I just name it "template.html" or is there something else I have to do?

Kim, I have a client like that also. She doesn't want her site changed that was built in 2008 with 1990's code but wants to compete in the vacation cabin rental business and wants to be on page one of Google. She doesn't want a mobile or responsive site even when I showed her that 55% of her traffic was coming from mobile search.

I'm not big on pastel colors but they work for this site. I think it may be the graphic you're using. It does look nice. Paintbrush has some good suggestions.

Good luck with a client that just doesn't 'get it yet'. :D

I zipped up my project, crawlspace.zip, and attached. I have not had a responose. I need to make my menu not wrap to two lines. Also, when I view the site on my IPhone, it is not creating the "hamburger" icon and compressing the menu but rather is displaying it horizontally. Thank you ahead of time for your help.

This is my first one page RLMP site. I downloaded the trial yesterday and finally after watching a few YouTube tutorials and reading some tips and user guide I was able to design and post my one page site .

Don't know yet about adding all that additional features, but I guess I will learn one day. At least it worked for one page and still is no perfect, but I can see it in my Galaxy Note 4 and it doesn't look bad.
