How to go larger than 1200 pixel?

I understand the grid system but how do I place something on top of another freely like layers? I am having a hard time making a simple layout, why can't it work like webform builder, at least I can see everything done correctly.

Bigger monitor would probably be the answer since your designing for screen size.

My content priority is desktop monitor and tablet, phone is too small that can only view the video part. All contents will be inside iframe and made responsive, I am not a web designer but an illustrator who had to do everything and expect drag & drop to be customizable self adjusting boxes, like those web hosting that provide blocks of ready to use items.

I could have save the hassle if I have gone through the quick start guide about custom break points, I thought its just markers like guides, no wonder I cannot get the in between size to match my content, my mistake.
