Morning all..

Apologies if this has come as a double post - not seeing it show up in Opera.

http://dlit.co.nz/makeover/Makeover_Hea … index.html

As the page shrinks the idea is for the menu bar to change into 2 lines, then lines with the blue HR in between each line, then 5 lines at phone sizes.

How I've done this is a separate HR above the containers for each element. I tried doing just a top border but RLM doesn't seem to manage that, I could have top and left, or full borders and so on, but no "top border only".

It pretty much works as I want except in Opera and Safari - there's a break between the ends of some of these lines at certain sizes (not break point sizes, but mid way in between). I can't tell what is doing it. Every container is set to 20% with no max width, everything inside set to 100%. It doesn't show inside RLM of course, and doesn't seem to appear on FF, GC or IE.

The gaps (where they appear) can also be seen to open and close across a change in width of just a few pixels - again this isn't crossing a breakpoint but somewhere in between.

I know that Opera is one of the less known browsers (I'm the only one who uses it who visits my site so far), but we do get a fair few Safari users visiting and I'd love for it to work perfectly.

Either way, thanks to RLM the new header will be a massive improvement to the current header (be warned, you may need a good eye/brain surgeon to remove the memory of the crash (and make sure you can never see another like it) if you try to shrink the current header!).

Thanks for any help,
David
