I've already tried that. Didn't help.

You are incorrect in your sarcasm.

CC already gives free software and free upgrades with their subscription.
- Responsive Email Designer and upgrades
- Site Designer and upgrades (upper 2 annual plans)

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

I tried with another server, a Norwegian one, where I have one of my domains. I got the same as Eric describes, setup test went well, but can't send anything.

I tested sending via a standard POP account this morning and everything worked just fine. No hiccups.

Sounds like this is a bigger problem than I just can't figure it out, if 2 Senior Advisors are having the same problem. ;)
Hopefully, it can be looked into and corrected or a fix found.
I also tried to send it from my Outlook address but, could't get it to even connect.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

They are looking into it. But also, Thanksgiving is kind of getting in the way today... ;)

I just added a totally separate email address to RED and it added the account and also sent successfully. Do you have the correct outgoing port and connection security set? If so, and it still doesn't work, I'd open a support ticket.

Brian, I don't quite understand. I have also added a separate email account, and it connects but does not send. In a previous post you said you had used the POP settings, but AFAIK POP is for incoming mail. I have used SMTP settings, for outgoing mail. Which server is it that stops the process, the outgoing mail server that we use, or the incoming server that the recipient uses?
When it comes to Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo etc, we don't have access to any settings, only our own user details.
What is it that you do differently from the rest of us?

I was able to get mine working. What I didn't notice is that it wasn't changing the From: and the Reply to: to match the server I was using. After manually changing, to match each server being used, all emails are working. AOL, Gmail, and BlueHost.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
