Double Quotes in styles

Howdy - Loving the program but running into an issue with our email provider, Infusionsoft.

When we export the code and paste into the Infusionsoft code builder, it is replacing all double quotes with &quot. I've been told that single quotes will not be replaced AND that quotes are not required in class definitions. Is there a way to change this output? Image of modified code attached.

Have you tried asking the support of the producer of Infusionsoft? To me it sounds like the problem is with their software, not with RED.

Yes, and of course they say that RED should be able to output either way, single or double quotes. So I figured that I would attack from both angles :)

You may try a support ticket to CC support (you find the link when you click on your name top right), but I seriously think that the other company needs to do something in this case.

Double quotes are valid HTML, there really is no reason for their software to make changes there. Also, they are not the ones that spent months tweaking code that makes custom responsive emails display consistent across email clients and platforms :P

Really, with any changes to the resulting code, a display issue can arise in some client on some platform somewhere... it would need to be tested thoroughly.
The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

Thanks Bob - I agree with you. I'm getting them to fix the issue on their code builder so that it won't modify any HTML that we put in there.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
