New slider user needs help getting going

I bought the Slider on Sunday night and have played with it an hour or so. I got bogged down trying to figure out how to make new images and descriptions replace previous ones as the slider changes frames. Right now, all that I have are slides lined up vertically that open that way in the previews. I don't find the controls at all intuitive, so I wonder if an existing slider user can point me in the right direction? I may want to drag and drop to change the order of frames (slides?), but want them to only appear in one master frame (container?).

I will want to be able to have forward/backward arrows, a pause/play button and text captions for each slide.

Another question I have is where can and can't drag and drop be used? I tried dropping images onto the new project area, but nothing happened. I had to "browse" to a folder, then manually add images, one at a time.

My test project is not online yet. But, you can see what I am trying to duplicate by visiting my leathercraft website that uses the CSS3Slider. The URL is rw-leatherworks.com/. There are other sliders on other pages, like the holsters page. I plan to replace all of them with the CoffeeCup slider, adding text to each frame (slide?).

Any comments on how I can proceed with the CC slider to approximate the CSS3 slider would be appreciated. Note, I purposely used small images to fit portrait orientation on smartphones and reduce bandwidth/data usage.

Thanks in advance! Wiz.

Thank you for the link. That will bring me up to speed on the terminology used and how to change things.

Hi. I can't get the controls to stay where I want. After I place one and put the next one they keep moving around. I put the width to 25% but I still can't get them to stay on top of the picture and to the right and left corners. Then I noticed the controls were only on one slide. Also after a few moves I can't anymore select the control image. Can someone make a tutorial to show how to put these controls? I would like to have them under the slide with first image and previous to the left, in the middle to have play and stop and at the right to have last and next. Also how can I make the to be on the pictures ?

Please direct me also to page that shows me the differences for each selection of "Clear" "Display" and "Position" under the POSITION panel.
Thank you.

Please upload or attach your project file so we can see what you are doing. As to the player controls, you are adding them to a slide which makes them only viewable on that specific slide. If you want them to be on all slides, you need to add them to the Slideshow Container.

If you are having problems selecting things, the Inspector Tab is your goto place. From that tab, you can double-click on any element to edit, or click and drag to re-order things. This process works identically to the way RSD handles elements.

Also how can I make the to be on the pictures ?

You sure can! You would use negative margin values for that.

ok. i got it. But now I changed the colors for the Icon Pair Indicator and it has a class but when i duplicate the slide it doesn't have the same class i have to set it manually. Is there a way to copy it automatically when I duplicate?

Also the slide id gets a name like " cc-slide-01-copy-1-copy-1-copy-1-copy-1-copy-1-copy-1" is that normal?

Here's a sideshow with controls that may help for several posts above:

This is the RCS project file for this slideshow:
