Hiya Francis,

I would think maybe you should put in a support ticket for help on this. CC devs would probably be able to help you better. You can do so by going to the purple menu at the top and choosing:

Get Support
then
My Support Room
then
Open a New Topic (on the right hand menu)

Good luck and hope it all gets worked out for you.

I had everything in Lockbox, and had a power failure while Lockbox was running. BAM, all data gone and I have not been successful since then at unlocking and repairing my file to get it opened again. I have data in there that I have stored nowhere else, and I'm hoping that some day - someone can help me get my data back out. I remain patient, but somewhat ticked - that there is no fix for this problem. I started a support ticket and the answer was, "Sorry".

I'm hoping you don't get more upset at my response, but...

Sorry that this happened to you. But, while I don't practice good back-up policies myself all of the time, short of you having backed up the data file I doubt that there is a solution for you. I'm sure that if there was anything that CC could have done to help you, they would have.

Backups are definitely a must when you're dealing with such detrimental information. Software as well as computers themselves are always subject to issues if you have power outtages, surges, electrical storm damage etc. There's no replacement for a few minutes of your time to back up your files and I'm going to assume you'll be doing that after this. Very sorry to hear you lost all that, but as already mentioned, there's not much anyone can do with a corrupt file.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
