Saving the map

I have been using the image mapper on a serious scale for the past week, preparing a map for a big local event. Every location on the map (the image in question is a schematic map) must link into a series of events associated with that map.
Because of the work flow, I am unable to create the mapped image all in one go and have to keep going back... adding links... save and upload over and over.
The image mapper has proved to be great - I even had to change the actual image half way through the process (which is still under construction), and I was able to just drag my hot spots around a bit to update the new image map.

With every new addition to the map I used the "save map as" option to overwrite the original, and this has gone smoothly.

Now to my problem:
After having saved the map and overwritten satisfactorily, I try to close the application.
The little window pops up asking:
"do you wish to save this map file?"
I respond
"yes" and go through the process of saving it.
I then go back and try to close the application again.
The same little window pops up asking the same question and so we go round, and round, and round.

The only way I can actually close the application is by clicking on:
"do you wish to save this map file" NO.

What am I doing wrong or is this a known glitch?

That is a known issue. You can safely just say "No" after you have saved it.

Ok. Thanks Scott.
I had noticed that it made no difference to the saved file so it had not actually caused me any problems to speak of.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
