HI,

need your help

something is miisng here for me in the manual

I bought a theme from CC

I installed it

I use the manual to start a new page
Step 3
When you find a theme you like, click OK. The code will be inserted into your
page for you.
Once the code is inserted, you can replace the generic text and images with your
own, tweak elements of the code, and do whatever else you gotta do to complete
your Webpage!

I do that, but CC copies something but I am still left with an empty editor...

I hoped to have a page where I only have to enter my content then, but nothing is loaded in the editor the way I do it

any ideas??

Thank you

As far as I know, the Editor creates a projct and copies the files for the theme into the location you have given for the project. After that you need to open the pages in the editor. They don't open by themselves.

You'll probably see the 'My Websites' tab along the left side of your working area, and if it's not open, just open it and open the pages you see in there.

Hey,

thanks

the website project folder was set incorrectly...

now the default.css is copied into the right folder, but still I have no idea how to create a webpage with this now...

I think I still have to copy the .html files to the right folder manually...?

trying...

There should be a default index page too and a couple of other pages...

Your pages should show up in the tree on the left side once you're setup a Project for your site. If you haven't setup a project yet, maybe that would be a good place to start. After a project is setup you can choose your theme and it will give you a choice to start a new project, or copy into the existing project, choose the copy into the existing project and all the pages should then show up in a tree on the left side.

Not knowing which template you are using it's a bit hard to say something about the menu. But I know some of the templates at least have just list items for the menus, and they may of course be changed out for a css menu. You'll find a built-in css menu creator in the Editor.
