I'm assuming registered users of HTML Editor 2008 (and earlier versions) who purchased the software will not have to purchase the upgrade, once made available? Free upgrades for life? ;)

These new features sound great! I can't wait. I've been using CoffeeCup HTML editor since WAAAAY back when it was your only product (1997 I think). You know when we all coded our websites by writing the html code directly and there was no such thing as CSS and DHTML. Yeah, CoffeeCup has been my editor of choice for a very long time. Keep up the good work.

Scott,
Something is missing which breaks my heart - I often open about 10 pages at once and find it very useful to use the "link to open document" to be able to link to targets in the various documents. Any reason for having taken that out?

The other thing I would really have liked to have seen added was an "upload all" option if several open pages all have to be uploaded to the same server.

And lastly, the colours palette still doesn't allow me to add my hex values - they are so much easier to copy and paste than the RGB values.

I will do some more checking, but certainly the overall impression is awesome. It looks like I might fall in love all over again

First 3,5 wseeks holliday :P. Then i'll try this one out. If i may suggest something, i would like a possebility to have a better integrated PHP editor in this program. Something like a php debugger and preview would be very, very nice! Keeps me from switching programs you see.
Anyhow, keep up the good work.

I've encountered a null pointer bug:

Running WinXP. To recreate:

- Open new file from layout (3 col, %, navigation left) = n.01
- Tools->Preferences
- Unselect "Hide Visual Editor"
- Click OK
- Select Preview Tab
- Click navigation link 1 (shows temp files folder)
- Click Back button
- Popup: Access violation at address 0, Read of address 0
- Preview screen goes out to lunch
- Go back to Code Editor Tab, popup = The requested resource is in use.
- Can't close file, can't exit, must kill process
- Bug is still reproducible after reboot.

I did not try to reproduce on another computer.

Also, copyright date is not up to date in help file, or license agreement.

Thanks

Been working on it this morning.
When I have half a dozen pages open - I toggle for line numbers - I change page tab and the line numbers disappear again.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
