Transferring "old" work to new...

I seem to be able to open the "old" work files for editing. I finally got them open on the left side of screen but was unable to edit them. Each one came up as the "index" screen. Soooo much appreciate your help!!!!

Eric, thank you so much for your sooo quick response! I sincerely apologize that I have not been able to study all of it yet. I got sick a few days ago and have not been able to get to my computer. Please be patient. I am NOT losing your e-mail!!
