Most likely it is text that you copied from another source and pasted it into an editor of some sort.
What program are you using that produces this?
Did you copy/paste the content from something else?
If it's not too much text, try typing it in directly and see if that helps or remove any extra spaces and any ' " (quote marks, apostrophe..anything like that) and type those again using your editor and see if that helps

If you're using the html editor, use the menu Edit > Replace...
replace
charset=utf-8
with
charset=windows-1252
and see how that works.

Mary Sue,
It seems you have made an error when trying to get the link to work. Was this the website you were trying to link to?
Never mind...I can't get a link to work in the forum today either...something is very wrong. When I added your link, it displayed my name and sent be to the same missing page...weird.
Can you also please let us know what page(s) have that problem?

Was it this url? I played around with it. Looks as if you must not write the http:// bit, but you have to have the www.

Here are a few ways to do links in the forums:
http://www.coffeecup.com/ -> just typing the url with http://
www.coffeecup.com -> just typing the url without http://
coffeecup.com -> the url enclosed in the square bracket URL tag without http://
http://www.coffeecup.com -> the url enclosed in the square bracket URL tag with http://
CoffeeCup Software -> the url as a attribute of the square bracket URL tag with http:// (like url=http://....)

Seems to work ok now. I tried an url written in various ways, also as the one in the question posted by Mary Sue. But her own link is still weird, and it is leading in a loop back to the topic. I removed a couple of spaces from it, but still...
mine is doing the same and i cant get it fixed ? :S

Inger.
Try taking the quote marks " " from around the url and add www.
