I was working on the same issue myself. Code folding would have been better IMHO.

Is there a keyboard command that allows you to have the cursor jump to the beginning or ending tag? I was looking for that as an option.

Hold Ctrl down and click on the start tag, then you get to the end tag.

Its on your download pg under the big green download button is a little clic box button that says get previous version 16.1

What do you mean by 'MS file'? MicroSoft file? There is no particular file to load before you open the new version 17 of the HTML Editor - other than starting up your pc, that is...
