Set Server Time Out
my website freezes as I am editing
the web host Linksky says it is because the editor is holding the connection open too long, which appears to the server to be a DoS
I cannot find any place on the editor to set server time out
help??
I have to keep asking them to reset the thing and I'm sure they love that

Sounds like a script in your page that's referenced to online content might be the problem. Did you add any new scripts to your page?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Are you opening the page from the web and then editing "live" (so to speak...)?

Thanks guys. No new scripts on the pages, just transferring files to a new server ...
I am editing live, yes ... I edit with HTML editor and reload the live page.

Seems like editing off-line - and then connecting and uploading as needed - might be a good option, - no?

I don't really know what to make of it because I have done it this way for years. But this is a new server and could be sensitive to ... whatever
Thanks
