Responsive Theme, looking for...

Pretty much, the title says it all. I have purchased a responsive theme (Vintage), but it does not seem to have the link at the bottom of the mobile version to allow the user to click to go to the full sized site. I would like to have that link added, but as I really don't know about responsive themes, I don't know how to do it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

TIA,
Michelle

With responsive themes there is no desktop or mobile version to link to, it is just one theme that is "responsive"
Try resizing the browser on your desktop and you will see what I mean ;)

As James said, it's all in one. I think you're thinking of the old way of doing the responsive themes where there were multiple site setups so if you were on a specific sized device it detected it and opened the site type according to your device viewport. The new way of doing responsive doesn't work that way anymore. Now it's one site that resizes according to your device viewport and that's it. The only way to do what you're asking for is to use an older style responsive theme which you'd have to either find somewhere else or create yourself. The new way is the most useful way for users to load what is truly best for their viewport size, but I do understand your wanting the ability to open the site normally. You may be able to add some CSS to accommodate that, but I'm not sure how that would work either.

Michelle, James is right.
If your site had been non-responsive, and you had added a meta tag about redirecting viewers with small screens to a special site made for small screens, in that case you might want to have a link to the wide site.

As I am new to the responsive theme idea, I didn't really know. I have accessed, for instance Facebook or the Verizon websites and they take me to their "mobile" site, but they have a link on the bottom to go to the "desktop" site. That's old school now? ;)

Okay, here's another question, related: the template that I have has some orangeish color on the desktop site, but that gets lost on the iphone version. Is there a way to customize so that there could be a orangish border or similar on the mobile site? The site I am working with right now is at the following URL: http://www.merievertcounseling.com/newsite Maybe if you see the larger version and then the smaller version, what I am saying might make a tad bit more sense? ;)

Really, thank you for all the replies!

I understand what you are saying. The colours can be changed to whatever you want. Maybe the orange border between the menu items? Or the whole navigation background orange?
