Quicklaunch in Windows 7 opens .cpf...
When I click on the startbutton of Windows 7 (ultimate, 64-bit), I see the startbuttons of both CoffeeCup HTML Editors in the window of the quick menu.
Next to the button of the registered version I have a small arrow, the free version has no arrow.
Clicking the small arrow, it gives me a list of the "Recent" documents.
When I click one of them, it opens only the '.cpf' file in the editor but it does not open "My Website".
(see attach)
Did I miss some setting of the editor?
Thanks in advance,
Albert

The .cpf file is a text file, so if you open that in the Editor that way, it will simply open the cpf file for editing. The only way to open your project is through the HTML Editor itself.

Thank you for the quick response.
I know the .cpg file is just a text file, but while it comes as the recent "my website" configuration, I thougt i'd missed some settings in HTML or Windows 7.
It would be nice if we could open a recent website by this quick link.
Your diligent studying,
Albert.
I don't know about your setup Albert, but if I don't have the Welcome message turned on, it 'always' opens the last project I had open.
The key for you might be to be sure you have the welcome screen turned on. When you do that you can choose to open a project right from that little window and it will give you the list of all the projects it currently has and you just pick it. Good to go from there

Thank you, Jo Ann, for your concerns (forgive me if I'm sometimes using the wrong English words or do not explain clearly, because my mothertongue is Dutch).
I Know I can open the last project if I open HTML editor, but my question was more about the use of the (new?) feature of Windows 7: "Jump list".
see: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/jump-lists
If I click on a program, either in the quick menu or in the taskbar of Windows 7, I can see some of the most recent documents I've worked with.
Just clicking on one of the shown links, opens that document.
I'll try to make it more clear with an example of Word (see attach).
When I click with the right mouse button on the picture(icon) of Word in the quickmenu or taskbar, I can very quickly choose to open one of the recent documents I was using.
If I do that with CoffeeCup, it is not working like that. It opens only the .cpf file in the editor, not one of my last used websites.
Because CoffeeCup did not open my website, so I wondered if I did anything wrong within the setup of CoffeeCup.
Scott allready answered me that this feature is not in CoffeeCup.
Perhaps it could be a new option for a new build of CoffeeCup HTML editor?
Thanks a lot for your reaction!
With kind regards,
Albert
