Please help me correctly install HTML...
I followed the Wizard to install the 2010 HTML update. All other programs have gone onto the root directory to Program Files, Coffeecup Software. This update creates a folder named Coffeecup Software in My Documents folder on the desktop and jumps in there. Before installation, I uninstalled the older version, rebooted, and tried typing out the correct pathway, but it still went to My Documents. Please tell me if this is where HTML Editor is supposed to go, and if not, how to direct it correctly. I will appreciate any help.
JoDee,
I think you'll find that what's installed in 'Coffeecup Software' under 'My Documents' is the folder for project data only.
The program executable, Coffee.exe, is in the 'CoffeCup Software' folder under 'Program Files'. The difference is that no separate folder is created for the Editor as the case is for many of the other CC programs.

Per, Thank you so much for your answer. Yes, all that appears to fit, and it works. Of course, I've only gotten so far as starting it up, so you're quite likely to hear from me again, I'm afraid. I do love the Coffeecup software. I bought it all a couple years ago when I needed an FTP program, and each update gets better and better. I created one basic little website with it using a combination of Visual, HTML, and extreme good luck. I'll never do anything more than basic, I reckon, but that should serve the purpose. My previous website is
www.kentuckykin.com
. When this one is done, it will be www.stonycreekstore.com
.
