Overwrite files by default...

I just installed the latest version (2010 Build 318).

In my previous version (305) I had it set such that when I upload files, it automatically would overwrite the file on the server without prompting. Since the new install, however, I'm prompted every time I upload a file and I can not for the life of me find the setting where I can change that option (and it's driving me completely bonkers!!!)

Where can I find the option to automatically overwrite files?

Thanks!

I'm glad it's not just me Kaos...I spent an hour trying to turn it off but with no success.

I've never understood why, when save and upload are probably the two most common commands, there isn't a one-click button for each? It would save soooo much time over the course of a day.

Now, back to the nag-box. PLEASE....how can I get rid of it???

I thought for sure we had added an option for this specifically but apparently it was not implemented. I will bring this up with our developers tomorrow.

Is it 'tomorrow' in the US yet? :)

I make around 200-300 uploads a day from the HTML Editor and already this morning I'm at the point of kicking the cat through frustration!

Please...the cat is looking increasingly worried, his fate is in your hands!

I just uploaded build 319 which now has a configuration option for this. Go to the File Menu > Upload File to Server > Add or Edit Servers

Hi Scott

The exe file won't execute after downloading..could be a Vista issue but as the first upgrade executed perfectly, I'm not too sure it is.

In hindsight, I think I'd rather carry on using the pre-2010 upgrade. Is there a version kicking around anywhere?

I just tested the download and it worked fine for me here. Sounds like you had a bad download. If you want an older version, you would need to open a support ticket. Just note that any bugs found in 2009 we will just say you need to upgrade ;)
