one large piece of copy instead of...
Hi,
I've pasted my copy in between the body tags, and it shows up fine in the preview tab. However, when I try and break the copy up in the html editor, the preview section doesn't change. I just have one large piece of copy, instead of paragraphs.
Can you explain what I should be doing in the html editor to overcome this problem please?
Really appreciate your help with this.
Many thanks
Paul

Can you give a better description of what your trying to accomplish?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Jon are you using <br> or <br /> (line break) tags at the ends of sentences to force the next line of text onto a new line?
Or you can enclose a block of text between <p> & </p> (paragraph) tags, or between <div> &</div> (division) tags, to break up the text into blocks.
If you type in text and use the 'ENTER' key to break up sentences etc as in a word processor, browsers ignore it and continue the next portion of text on the same line.. The same as if you type in more than one space in a row, the browser will condense it down to one space.

Do you mean that browsers ignore white space?
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
