I've been away for years... now where...
I started with CoffeeCup around 1999? Somewhere in there.
About 5 years ago or so, I stopped doing website design.
I'm back!
Now it's all new and updated in so many great ways. But, my habit formed go-to things are different.
I found the ftp area but what I'm needing to do is work on someone else's existing website. I need to download before I can upload or even create folders since I need to see the code first to make sure my folders match.
Where is the main set up area so I can download the existing code and template items?

Thanks, Eric, but I already re-downloaded the actual CoffeeCup HTML Editor. What I need to know is where I set up the new FTP information in there so I can download the existing website that I need to work on for someone else? Otherwise I don't have any of the files to open a new page, etc. to get started.

Welcome back! Have a read through this:

Projects are a great way to keep everything together and organized. Once you've set up a Project and FTP** connection, you can download live pages to edit them (Open from Web option). You could also view the site in your browser to copy the page code and paste it into a new page in the Editor.
I like the second way better because the old page remains intact while you create its new replacement, and if anything gets messed up, it's not live online.
The welcome screen has set-up, theme and template options. You can also get to them from the File menu.
*right-click > view source
**For the FTP... File > FTP > Upload to Server > Add an Account

Thank you, Eric. I did find what I needed nestled on that page.
Thank you, Paintbrush. I'll go check out that page. I'm intrigued by the downloading of pages like that but I needed to also download all the elements of the page to work on it.

It is a very long time since I visited here and the information provided above will be very helpful.
The website (medset.ca) created years ago with HTML-EDITOR Is still functional but needs updates until I can arrange a total rewrite.
The updates I will take care of (very rusty here) the rewrite will be done by someone else.
Yes I will read the links above.
Any other suggestions?

Grab a responsive theme for the html editor or grab yourself a copy of RSD and use that to rebuild the site.
