Hey Inger, I just spoke with a client of mine for the CJ website, I still have it exactly how you sent it to me, however he had one request, on one of the photo's he wants to put "This horse was named after Craig Judd". Can we make this possible? Is it an issue in wowslider I need to change, or can we go about it a different way, wowslider makes me nervous ;)

Wow Slider is very easy to use and to update as long as you keep the files intact and don't mess with them outside the program. If you change them outside the program, they will be like VSD and not recognize those changes and will overwrite them so always best to do those changes in the program.

Just load up the saved file you have for it and do your changes. You can add/delete/change any of the photo's text in the captions by just adding it in there. Save the file and export it again as you did before and replace the files on the server and you're done. It is a very quick thing to do and it's something you should figure out how to do yourself so you aren't so "nervous" about using the programs.

Make a backup of the original files you have for it as well as the saved file and then have at it. If you mess it up you can always put it back and bug Inger for it then :P Give it a try Matt, that's the best way to learn and if you are working with clients, you should definitely be learning this stuff :)

Matt, I hope the others can help you out for now, I'm still away from home where I have my wowslider and your files. I'll be going home tomorrow, though, and that takes all day. If the problem still exists on Saturday, I can take a look.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Hey Inger, i'll wait for you to get home first, because i'm not sure if I should rename the file itself, or if I should add something through wowslider to add names to each one of the pictures. I see the features of the filenames being portrayed, but i'm not sure how to alter them myself and don't want to touch any files I shouldn't be in ;) I have the exact same files as you do, I never touched the site since so.. I can wait to do it the right way ;)

Matt if your just wanting to add captions, just add them, it's not that hard. Open the file for the saved gallery and each picture has a separate setup. Click each picture one at a time and it will give you the areas to type a caption. Type them, save it and export it, that's all there is to it.
