HTML-Visually?

Hello everyone!
I just bought the software yesterday and I have to say I am finally happy I did. I am however having a bit of a problem. I downloaded the HTML Editor from CoffeeCup last year and created a fake gym website for a college course. I remember though coding it visually. Like I could just point my browser create a table on the layout, etc. I can't remember for the life of me how to do this? Can anyone let me know? I didn't download visual either, it was through HTML editor. I looked online and on the forum and kind of running out of time, so I hope it's ok to add the thread and thank you again for such great products.

Hiya Destiny,

You need to turn on the visual tab of the editor to use it. It's in the settings of the Preferences. Go to the menu at the top and choose"

Tools >> Preferences

And on the first main tab, left side approximately half way down you should see a check box for whether or not you want to Hide the Visual Tab.

Hope that helps.

Also, don't switch between the visual and code tabs if you do decide to use this editor as the visual editor. They don't play nice together and end up changing code on you and not always in a good way so make a decision to use one or the other but not both.

Visual Site Designer may have been a better choice for you for features and such, but the HTML Editor does have a decent visual setup just not as versatile as VSD is.

Good luck on it :)
