I'm trying to set the Tab Columns values, but the editor seems to ignore the values that I enter. I prefer my tab stops at 5 space increments. I set the Tab Columns value to 5 10 15 20 25 30 and set the Tab Stop value to 5. However, when I'm in the editor, these values are ignored and the tabs are all over the place when I'm entering code. What am I missing?

Matthew, I used to have problems with this, and here's how I solved it.

Go to: Tools > Preferences, Click the Customization Tab, Click the Modify Options button
Under General Options UNclick Smart Tab
Set the Tab Columns to 5 and the Tab Stop to 5

That solved the issue for me. There are two anomalies that I've found:
1. The adjusted tab stops don't seem to apply to css files.
2. No matter what I do, the 1st tab on a line (starting from the far left) is always 4 spaces wide and the 2nd tab is 1 space. After that, tabs are 5 spaces.

One other thing: It will not re-tab lines of code already on the page. They will remain the same until you change them yourself.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.
