When I try to preview in my browser, the browser can't find the document. I've saved the document many times and it shows up in the 'Working' folder within editors explorer, but the file doesn't seem to actually be saving in the normal directory. As in I can't find any of my new saved files when i go to look for them in the 'Working' folder.

I have the 2008 version.

What's wrong here?

Thanks,
Chris

Well, let me take an educated guess...

1- Are you using a Windows Vista machine?
2- If so, have you disabled the UAC?
3- When you upgraded to the 2008 version, did you uninstall the older version, re-boot AND THEN istall the 2008 editor?

When you navigate to your file where the document should be, look for a tab/button/link near the top of the window (beside "file") that says "compatibility files" or something like that. If you see that, it means that Vista did not recognize the program as being installed properly and has put your files in a "virtual folder". Copy the files you need from there and paste them into the folder you want them. THEN... if you have your files in the "working folder", copy all files from there to a safe place outside of the CoffeeCup folder on your computer. Uninstall the CC editor 2008, re-boot your machine and install again. Don't forget to put the files you saved back into your working folder, or wherever they were supposed to be in the first place!
Look into the help files about turning off the UAC (user account control) feature of Vista. It messes things up sometimes.

If I am way off track, and you have an XP machine...oops. :)
