HTML Editor and Search for...

I searched but didn't find any good info about this. Maybe I'm the only one having this error.

I write text in my language, Swedish, and want to translate our special characters with the 'Search for undocumented characters'.

But when I do HTML Editor crash. It starts, but then nothing happens.

I run Vista x64, so I thought it might be that, but I then remembered that I used Vista 32-bit before with the same error.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall and so on, but this problem is still there.
and every time I have to ctrl+alt+del to stop it.

Any idea?

I see your running version 2008.
The latest version is 2009 build 305.
You can download the update from the website.
See if this vesion resolves your problem.

I have the 2009 build 305 of CoffeeCup HTML Editor (Reg.Vers.) in use.
Crash in the use of the undocumented characters option (search for special characters dialog) from the tools menu is still existent in that version.

fix?!?

btw
besides that annoying, hopefully soon fixed bugs, it's an execellent web editor, worth every cent I payed for it ;-)

As mentioned above, update to the most recent version and "then" see if it still does that. If not then yep there was a fix :P
