I have a lot of problems with the HTML-editor in my new installed Windows 8 environment:
(1) all the code is not always showed
(2) when different html-pages are opend they sometimes show all the same code.
I have to close the editor and then restart again to see everything right.
This has given me a lot of problems lately.
I am not sure of my programming anymore.

Did you try reinstalling the editor?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I have none such problems as you have, Hendrik, so the fault can't be with the actual programme.
A lot of factors may need looking at:
The download file for the html Editor, maybe redownload
The installation of the Editor, as Eric says
Any fire walls or anti virus running while download and installation
The way you installed Win8, on top of Win7, or clean install
The permissions you have to that machine, Admin?
Maybe more, but these just came to my mind.
