HTML editing 'Google Docs' style via...

Just wondering if the Coffee Cup team have ever thought of making the HTML Editor into a web-based application that can be used from anywhere without installing, in the manner of Google Docs?

This would be handy for me as I often work from different locations. Obviously, it is possible to take a laptop around with me, and/or Coffee Cup installed on a USB stick, but sometimes I have had issues either connecting to wi-fi from my laptop, or getting CC to work from the stick... the ability to do it 100% from cloud would be pretty nice.

In the meantime I also wonder if anyone can suggest any other products out there which do such a thing, which I could use as a back up to the wonderful Coffee Cup on those occasions when I am on the road?

That would be nice for some, but no for people who wish to work offline. Have ya tried to Google cloud based html editors? Good luck.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Thanks, I've done a bit more research since posting this and found some, although none are completely ideal for my purposes. Most are focused on WYSIWYG and are poor for editing markup. Others are more elaborate, but are unnecessarily complicated to use and/or come with a large monthly subscription fee. One of the better options I have found is called ShiftEdit, which comes close, however I still feel there is a gap in the market for a Coffeecup HTML Editor online version!

As S-Drive evolves, that may very well be included.

VSD on S-Drive... saving your site without having to upload.... that would be amazing.
Aren't you a little short for a Storm Trooper?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
