I have made all of my website using VSD: http://www.petgemportraits.com/

My problem is that I have to insert meta tags using html code at the top of each page, and I'm not sure how to do it.

Can I use the html tool in VSD or will I have to open the .vnu file in HTML Editor instead?

Please can somebody advise me before I ruin it all?

Many thanks,
Lily :/

Go to the Edit Menu/Edit Keywords and Descriptions. Here you put in that data.
Make sure your on 5.9.3

Thank you Scott, that is brilliant - I missed it! Please can I ask is it necessary to put a description of every page, or just for the homepage and a few important pages?

Many thanks,
Lily

Form an SEO point of view, it can't hurt. Some people just use the same for every page too.

Using VSD 5.9.3

I've noticed that when you edit "Keywords and Description," then save, VSD applies the keywords and description of whatever page is active to all the other pages ~ even if you select "apply to current page". In order to save desription and keywords for individual pages you have to edit each page externally.

Hi Carol,

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I will see if we can get a fix for that quickly.
