Hi,
I have a situtaion where the ftp uplaod using website projects transfers the page from a structured layout page to what looks like a compressed html page with all the code in row1.
I cannot see any settings in the ftp config that switches this on/off so am puzzled why it is doing it.
Happens just on one website project, other projects upload the strctured pages ok
Can you cast any light on the problem.

Hi Ray, welcome to the forums :)
Could you post a link to the published page? It's hard to tell what's going on without being able to see all the code.

In the HTML Editor
got to"Tools"
Then "Preferences"
Then "General" tab
Check under "Miscellaneous"
Is "Word wrap on by default" checked?
There's one more setting that might do this but check that one first.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Word wrap has never "compressed" text that I'm aware of, don't think it does that now either. Sounds to me like a setting in either the HTML Editor or the FTP program that is compressing them on upload or save.

That is correct. Word wrap does not compress anything. It just wraps text to a new line after XX charcters. We tried to help Claudio in support but all we got was this from him:

"see attt s- drive + folder"

Not a whole lot to go by. ;)
