Sorry to be inept. How does one
change the destination directory of FILE > OPEN from "working"
permanently to some other directory?

I know this option but have still the problem.
I use a network storage drive as working directory, but it seems that it isn't recognised when starting the HTML editor?
Every time it's set back to the default setting after closing and starting the program.

I don't bother, but it would be nice when the option would work ;-)

It will work if you map up your network drive assigning a drive letter to it. I have done that, and it works perfectly well.
Ha en riktig god dag!
