I recently upgrading my HTML Editor to the 2008 version and now when I try to ftp files into a new directory, I get an error 261. This only occurs if there are no files in the new directory. If I go onto the server and copy or move a file in the directory manually, then I am able to upload files through the HTML Editor to that same directory. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is this a problem with the HTML Editor or with my website server?

I just experienced the same problem. Thanks to you I can at least move forward since copying a "test" file in to the directory using my FTP program gives me a godo work around.
