Hiya John,

I would suggest you uninstall the program, then try reinstalling it with admin privs by right clicking the installation file and choosing Run as Administrator on the menu. That will install it with full Admin privileges. If you still have issues you may need to disable your firewall/virus protection software and try again. Please let us know if that fixes the install problem or if you still have issues. :).

this particular error is thrown out by many programs and is indicative of broken system files. If Jo Ann's suggestion doesn't work, try this:

Here is the followup to what happened. Simply put, the error code was generated because of one hot chip on the motherboard. It took exploring a few hard disks and efforts to correct several of the errors before this became clear. Once a new motherboard was installed, with a fresh windows XP install (including SP3) there was absolutely no problem with installing the Full 12.7.456 and it initialized immediately. I thought you might like to know.

Wow, sorry you had to go through all of that John, but I guess it's better it happened just after an install than while in the midst of a long site setup process and losing changes. Good luck on your site now that you can breathe and it's working how it should :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
