Is there a way to EDIT existing tags?

Example, when you create and image or other tag, a box opens where you enter all the attributes.
Is there a way to double click or other wise edit that tag without having to create a new tag? I do a lot of templating and it would be a great asset to be able to double-click a tag and edit the information within it.

Hiya Mark,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean on the tags. Once you enter a tag setup such as for an image or link etc. that code is right there in front of you to change it. I'm assuming you're using the code since you're using the HTML Editor so correct me if you're using the Visual Editor tab instead. If that's the case then I have no idea since I don't use that tab at all sorry.

Yes, what you are saying is true...but, I want to double click (or something like that) to case the tag and properties to come up in a wizard type box to edit.

Example: when created a <a href:> tag, I can click on a browse button to navigate to the html code and select it. I want to be able to access an existing <a href:> tag and use the browse button to to be able to navigate to and change the page that it references.

Hope that clears it up.

I don't believe this is possible, but it's a good suggestion if you care to put that in the Suggestions thread for the HTML Editor.

That is one feature from MS's Visual Studio that I would love for CC's HTML Editor to "borrow"!

I can't see if this was ever addressed adequately. Is there any way to edit tags once they are put in document other than by hand?
Thanks

nope, not sure if it was suggested or not back then, I can't remember if they posted it in suggestions or not. If not, feel free to do so, but at this time no, there is no way to edit the code other than to manually edit the code.
