Changing a project's location
Is it possible to change the location of a project after you've created it? I stupidly made my Project folder the folder for one of the sites I will be working on, only to realize later that wasn't right. Since I'll be working on a number of projects, I realize I'll need a number of project folders. (oops)
Hi
Try this. Define one folder called projects, CC creates one at: C./user/documents/coffeecup software/HTML Editor/projects (my OS is Vista).
inside projects create one folder by project and copy all files to one folder.
Open html editor and create a new website project (My website / New website project)
Fill the data you want an connect the project to your folder using the field - website project location.
et voilá...

If you want to change anything about your already created project, such as location etc. The easiest way I've seen to do this would be to totally duplicate your project folder and place it into the location you want it to be in. Then in the HTML Editor use the menu at the top and choose "My Websites" and then "Website Project Settings". In there you can change the ftp info, the location of the project (which is what you're after I think?) and a few other settings.
Just change that location setting to reflect the new setting. Now go to the folders directly (not through a program other than the Windows Explorer) and delete the previous project folder in the old location (this gives you the opportunity to be able to restore it if something messes up, can't always do that if you delete something through another program like DirectFTP etc.).
Now load up your project and make sure it all works. Hope this helps and please let us know if there were any issues on this. Someone else may know an easier way to do this, but so far this has been my most "successful, glitchless" way

I'm guessing here, but you can create a website project any folder you want and just use open website project to open the site you want to work on.
If however you are like me, created several website projects in folders and then consolidated all those project folders into one master folder, you can look for a file ending in .cpf in your website folder. This file is your master website project file for that website, just open it with notepad and edit the path,
eg:
I changed the path from f:\programs\coffee cup\projects to g:\wamp\www then moved the website to that folder and opened the website project normally
