Cant open .tpl files
I cannot get .tpl files to open from the file/folder listing area (on the left). If I double click it, or right click and choose Edit, nothing happens. But, if I run a search and a tpl files comes up in the results, I can double click it and it opens in the editor with no problems.
Any ideas why this is happening, and/or how I can fix it?
I am using HTML Editor 2010 SE build 369, if that makes any difference (should be the latest version).

Where are those templates from?
Are you trying to open them from within the Editor?

They are opencart files. I am trying to open them from within in the editor, yes.
If I double click them in a windows folder, they will open fine too. But why can`t I open them from within the editor....that would be much more convinient!

You may have to right-click on one of those files and select 'Open with', and then select the CC HTML Editor among your installed programmes. Also, make sure the checkbox for 'Always open...' is checked.

sometimes it will open when I right click and choose "open in associated program" (from within the editor), but not always. Weird, I know. The CC editor is the program that is associated with these files in the file properties.
But why doesnt it work with a double click from within the editor? It should, shouldnt it?

I can't tell, I'm just a user like yourself. To find out you may want to contact CC support.
